“You’ve already made a difficult (and painful) time for me much easier to bear.”
I wanted to express my sincerest appreciation and thanks to you for all of this. It is a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions and I honestly wasn’t sure what to do. And I certainly didn’t know what to expect. You made me, and my parents, feel extremely welcome and respected. You made me feel validated for my feelings and thoughts, without dismissing me at all. We left all feeling so very grateful for your time, your clear and calm manner and explanations and your willingness to take care of this and more importantly, to take care of me. I wish I could express properly what that means. It’s sometimes hard to come by in our regular day to day, but I found through this accident and Nissan’s handling of it, how hard it can be to come by even in extreme circumstances as well. The moment when you feel everyone should be treated with respect, kindness and care and it doesn’t come.
You also taught me, though I am still processing, that I did the right thing to reach out. To reach out for help, but also to reach out to stand up for myself, to do right by myself for a change. Thank you for working for me to get a small piece of justice.
You’ve already made a difficult (and painful) time for me much easier to bear. I know both my parents and me are singing your praises and when we can, will be referring anyone who needs caring, honest, intelligent counsel to come your way.
Many, many thanks,
Jessica
